Prof. Dr. Cemil Aydın is a urologist at VM Medical Park Samsun Hospital, Samsun, Türkiye. He graduated from Çukurova University Faculty of Medicine in 2004 and completed his urology residency at Dışkapı Yıldırım Beyazıt Training and Research Hospital in Ankara in 2011. He previously served on the faculty of the Department of Urology at Hitit University Faculty of Medicine, where he was appointed Associate Professor in 2020 and Professor in 2026. In 2025–2026, he completed a robotic surgery observership at Fondazione Policlinico Universitario Agostino Gemelli in Rome.

His clinical and research interests include endourology, urinary stone disease, laser prostate surgery (HoLEP, ThuFLEP), and uro-oncology, with a particular interest in robotic and laparoscopic urology. He has co-authored numerous international publications, including multicenter studies conducted under the European Association of Urology Section of Endourology on flexible ureteroscopy and endoscopic enucleation of the prostate.

Prof. Aydın serves as Associate Editor of the Journal of Urological Surgery and as a board member of the Minimally Invasive Urology Society. He is a member of the EAU and AUA.
