Tarik Emre Şener, MD, FEBU, is an Associate Professor of Urology in the Department of Urology at Marmara University School of Medicine, Istanbul, Türkiye. A graduate of Lycée Saint-Joseph, the French high school in Istanbul, he studied medicine at Marmara University between 2004 and 2010 and completed his urology residency at the same institution between 2011 and 2016. During his residency, he completed an endourology fellowship at Tenon University Hospital in Paris alongside Professor Olivier Traxer. He serves as Chair of the Progress in Endourology, Technology and Research Association (PETRA) Urogroup and Chair of the European School of Urology (ESU)’s Lower Urinary Tract Endoscopy Working Group. He is also a member of the European Association of Urology (EAU) Endourology Stone Surgical Working Group.
